The price depends mainly on the length of the run, the pipe size, what the pipe passes under, and whether we can mole or need to dig. As a guide, two recent quotes for a new 25mm main from the meter to a house, laid at 750mm deep with new stopcock and valves, full reinstatement and certification, were £1,600 and £1,650 plus VAT.
Larger diameters, long runs, roads or hard landscaping, and commercial sites are priced individually after a survey. Every quote is fixed, with no day rates.
